![]() ![]() To be honest, this is an extensive process, which means there are different things to check with the audio hardware setup. This is the most common issue associated with the REAPER not playing audio. Although it costs $89 which is way too much for this task to my taste. So, go through the output patch settings and make sure they are patched to the correct hardware output. I did not look but I'm sure there are plenty of free Reaktor patches emulating amp feedback.Īlso there's Softube Acoustic Feedback plugin that does exactly that. ![]() If you have Guitar Rig, probably you have Reaktor. Remember to put a limiter on your master track first and keep output volume low, otherwise you could damage your speakers or your ears with loud uncontrolled feedback. Also adding eq at the delayed track with some sharp spikes around 200-300Hz really contributes to the sound. You could also automate delay to emulate moving your guitar around the amp. Add your rig to the first one and a short delay to the other, and then automate the volume of the second track to taste from -infinity to zero and back. ![]() In Reaper you could set up (if feedback loops are enabled in Project Properties) two tracks going into each other: track 1 out goes to track 2 in, track 2 out goes to track 1 in. Guitar feedback is basically an infinite short (5-50ms) delay with eq and distortion. ![]()
